What your identity is, is this: it's the strongest force in the human personality. 

Your identity is moldable. It's buildable. It's creatable. It's not, "Oh well, this is who I am. And that's how it's always going to be." Absolutely couldn't be further from the truth. 

I know that from experience. I've developed who I am speaking to you today. I built this. And it wasn't always like this. I went off the rails. I had an identity. I was in the party scene, you know, like I did all these things, right?

And so, it doesn't mean that's who you are. That's why your past does not equal your future, unless you live there. That makes sense? 

If you live in the past, you're bringing it into the now. And that is going to mold the future. 

And so, we can build, and create, and mold, and confirm, and cement our identity. It just takes practice.
