Calendars need content. 

Show me your calendar, I'll show you what you're going to be achieving. If it's blank, there's a reason why you're running from reaction to reaction. 

Now, I'm not saying you're not going to not be reactive, or there's going to be a reaction. We're not perfect. But there will be more times where you'll be able to respond versus react when you use this.

Make that a practice. Use your calendar. I don't care if it's electronic. I don't care if it's a diary. I don't care if it's a journal. I don't care if it's an iPhone. I don't care if it's an app. I just care about whatever works for you and you use it. You engage with it. And it works for you. 

The overarching practice is that your calendar needs content. You need to see, “What's my milestones? What are my important things I want to achieve? What's my blocked time? What's happening?” 

It's not going to be perfect, but it's progression.
